Marcus is 6' tall with graying black hair and cold green eyes. He is lean and wiry.

    1. Jerusalem, New Covenant
  2. Did he have a happy childhood?
    1. His childhood revolved around memorizing scripture and Doctrine, so he had a structured childhood with little time for friends or play.
  3. Was he wealthy, poor, comfortable?
    1. The Moore's are one of the wealthiest families in New Covenant.
  4. What was his social class?
    1. Being of the hereditary Grand General line, they were in the uppermost class of New Covenant.
  5. Was he well educated?
    1. Marcus was among the best educated in the colony, having received a private education with skilled tutors.
  6. What was the most important things that happened to him?
    1. Marcus sees his ascension to Grand General as his greatest accomplishment
  7. Did he have any history of illness – physical or mental?
    1. Marcus would say no. There is limited medical care in New Covenant, and no mental health care.
  8. Were James’s grandparents alive when he was born? Describe their relationship with the Marcus
    1. James's paternal grandfather died when James was 10. Mark and Marcus were not fond of each other. James's paternal grandmother died when he was 16.

Christine Moore

Christine is 5'7" with graying sandy blonde hair and a thin frame. She has hazel eyes.

    1. Jerusalem, New Covenant

    1. As happy as possible in New Covenant. Christine attended Church School and played with other girls.
  3. Was she wealthy, poor, comfortable?
    1. Christine's family was very comfortable. Her father was a Bishop in the militia, an advisor to the Grand General.

    1. High upper class
  5. Was she well educated?
    1. Christine attended Church School, where she learned scripture and Doctrine, until she was 12 and betrothed.
  6. What were the most important things that happened to her?
    1. Christine sees her children as her greatest accomplishment

    1. None
  8. Were James’s grandparents alive when he was born? Describe their relationship with Christine
    1. Christine's father passed away after she had Hunter when she was 26. Her mother passed away when she was 38. She had a polite relationship with her father and a warm relationship with her mother.

James Moore

James is 6' tall and has dark black hair and beard, green eyes, and he is wiry. His single point of vanity is his well-kept beard.

    1. James was raised by both his parents, with his mother as the primary caregiver.
  2. Into what circumstances is James born?
    1. James was born into a theocratic authoritarian colony where his father was one of the three leaders.
  3. Are James’s parents happy with the sex of the child?
    1. Yes. Marcus Moore wanted an heir to the Grand General title.
  4. What expectation do James’s parents have for him?
    1. They expect James to excel in all things, and take over the Grand General role when Marcus dies.

    1. Everyone in the colony expects him to be like his father

    1. For the most part, James's parents are distant, with his father occasionally being cruel.

    1. Early on, James loved his mother most. At 8, James's brother Hunter was born, and James doted on him.

    1. Ace, 2 years young

    1. Very popular. All the kids wanted to be friends with the future leader.

    1. James enjoys hunting and carving wood.

    1. James's church is comprised of young Earth creationist Christians, and James doesn't know other religions exist, as church attendance is mandatory and everyone believes in the same Bible and Doctrine. Supposedly.

    1. James did very well in school until he joined the militia at 13.
  18. How did his teachers see James?
    1. James's teachers and tutors found him to be an excellent student and leader among his peers.
  19. What is the James’s greatest fear?
    1. Losing a loved one.
  20. As James’s sexuality becomes more fixed, does he or she fit into the norms of society? If not, how does he or she feel different?
    1. James is unaware of anything besides heterosexual and cisgender people during his life in the colony. Any such behavior outside of the "norm" of Doctrine would mean a death sentence.

    1. James usually wears his militia uniform or rugged hunting gear.

    1. There is not music or books in the colony besides the church choir and Bible.

    1. James had to enlist in the militia at 13 and learn how to kill aliens. Boys in the colony become men at 13.

    1. James has no choice but the stay in the militia and eventually take over.
