About the Author

Nicholas was born in Livermore, CA. It was a quiet suburb and a great place to live. It is also home to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Being so close to the lab sparked Nicholas's interest in science and science fiction.

Nicholas developed a love of story-telling and writing at a young age, making up tales to tell his friends. He excelled in writing and English classes, spending much of his time reading.

At 20, Nicholas met his future wife when both worked at Starbucks. They moved together to Reno, NV, then Tucson, AZ, then Clearwater, FL. No matter how far away he moves, Nicholas considers California his home.

Now married for over a decade, Nicholas and his wife share three cats: BabyPurrPurr, Merlin, and Ginger.
